TS5000 controller for easy robot programming
The TS5000 robot controller is the latest controller from Shibaura Machine. It boasts position control, resulting in more precise robotic movements and shorter cycle times. Compared to previous controllers, the TS5000 offers a three times faster position cycle for better synchronisation and control. It also boasts an acceleration auto adjustment (SPURT) function, which contributes to a shorter cycle time as well as reducing vibration and stress.
Plus, with dedicated ports for status feedback and control, additional ports for priority communication like vision interfacing, and eight additional ports for non-protocol communication — four times as many as the previous model — the TS5000 is designed for use in today’s smart, connected factories.
In addition to performance and communication upgrades, the TS5000’s physical characteristics have been enhanced. The controller’s footprint is 33 per cent smaller than previous models and weighs only 10kg, allowing for easy installation and smaller control panels.

TP5000 teach pendant
The TP5000 teach pendant works alongside the TS5000 controller, enabling operators to control the robot manually. This is important for maintenance and troubleshooting purposes, as well as fine-tuning the robot’s performance.
This teach pendant was designed for ease of handling and operability, with a 7-inch colour touch sensitive panel enabling intuitive use. Plus, two sets of data can be viewed simultaneously thanks to the split-screen display feature, enabling more efficient programming.
